    Murray,

As there is no trial version of the TS2.5 product would it be possible to purchase the manuals at my cost so that I can determine if the program is best suited to my purposes?

We will be selling a courseware version with my system development course soon for under 100.00. This will contain the course plus a courseware functional version of TradersStudio. The only restriction is you can not add your own data.

    hi, Murray,

any development on the Trial version or courseware version?

I am seriously considering purchasing Tradersstudio, but would like to see and test all its great functionality beforу spending money.

At the moment, I am particularly trying to clarify 2 things (which are not clear from the manuals available at this site):

     - is  drawdown analysis in TStudio %-based, or dollar-amount-based? Of course, the first is preferable

    - What are the possibilities of  Custom reports? I would like to create a table with system performance info (max drawdown, % win, ave win/loss ratio, etc) - in columns - by instrument(in raws)  and for the total portfolio and export it to *.csv file..Is this doable? What are other possibilities with Custom reports?

    some other questions:

    - when is ver.2.7 out? what new features\fixes will it bring?

    thanks,

    E.

You can get the drawdown both ways. For stocks, both dollar and percent at session level for commodities you can get dollar level at the session level and percent drawdown as well as compound annual growth rate at the trade plan level.

Answer to custom report is yes, you can do just about anything you want. The only thing is it gets exported to a XLS workbook with the rest of the results and not a CSV.

We have a lot of new stuff coming out in 2.7 which would be a free upgrade to you. This includes advance drawdown reports and distribution charts. Better support for translating 8.3 TradeStation code and much much more.
