Hello, Murray & everybody! Let us consider that we have opened a long position and the trend goes up and we are happy and try to protect our profit with a stop order. Than the trend reverses and today crosses the level of the StopOrder. How should this order look like? I have tried the following. The stop order checks if the lowest stock price today (Low) is less, than the stop-order(StopOrder) that we have set up yesterday. If it is true the system will place a stop order and it will be fulfilled tomorrow at the opening price. If Low

You need to use StopSD order type to have a stop execute on the day of entry.

Murray, sorry, I was not clear enough. It is not about executing stop on the day when i enter a long position. I need the stop order to be be executed (to sell) on the day when price crosses the stop order. Example: current price is 110 and i have an open long postition. Today i set the stop at 100. StopOrder=100 If Low

Your making this too difficult Exitlong("ProtectLong","Buy",1,100,stop,day) This is all you need and will exit the trade after the day of entry. If you want something which works on the day of entry replace stop with stopsd. Not condition testing is needed.
