For novice (just in programming and not in trading), the best way in building and checking strategies would be to use a full visuall method with a few mouse of clicks.

With the 2.5v, You can use different blox and the "drag and drop" feature for building strategies but on the others hands, you can't check if your strategies has been correctly buided or NOT through a full visual method !!

So, it would be a very nice idea to check strategies VISUALLY just buy plotting the current strategy on a chart called "strategy checking chart".

This is a simple strategy example :
H1      RSI(13,C)>50
M15   MA(13,E,C)>MA(23,E,C)

In this case, we will have 2 charts in the same big window, one for the 1Hour time frame with the RSI>50 plotted and one for the 15minutes time frame with MA crossing plotted (you could also plot 3 or more time frame if your current strategy runs through many time frames as the Elder triple screens).

In this way, you could check VISUALLY and very quickly your strategies by the best manner as for example when you build strategies using price patterns, geometrical patterns like triangles, rectangles.....etc..........
