Do you have plans to support Quotes Plus databases in the near future?  I read in one of your postings that QP would soon become  a preferred data vendor soon.

Thanks,

John

We had other issues we addressed , now I want to get back to the quotes plus issue. The problem is they have not added dividend support to the stock data and do not have a way to make continous contracts at least the last time I looked at them.

If there is enough demand I will add support for them. We were in the middle of a addin to offer quotes plus support but we never finished it, since they did not have dividend support. If people would like us to add it we will finish the addin.

1) The virtue of the QP database is that it eliminates the obscure, nested-directory structure of Metastock.

2) Does TradersStudio support extended Metastock format (>255 symbols)?

Thanks.

No we support old <255 structure. The new structure is not documented and requires a license from them. Which they will not give us because we compete with Metastock.

Regarding CSI: it's been years since I've used it.

1) Does CSI have a database structure that make it easy to navigate around. How is it integrated to TradersStudio?

2) Would you characterize CSI as your preferred vendor and therefore encourage users to embrace it?

2) I see that you offer 20-for-10 with CSI data, but is there any deal for ongoing data subscriptions.

Thanks for your prompt replies; I really appreciate it.

Unfair advantage CSI , does have a nice user interface for selecting portfiolos and building data files.

CSI is a preferred vendor for stocks and one of two vendors for commodities.

We don't have any ongoing subscription deal but we save you alot upfront. World Futures with 20 years of history costs about $900.00 versus our $393.00

Do you also have some kind of a deal for historical stock data?

CSI stock database is $267.00 on the site with 20 years of history. This will allow you to do both split and dividend analysis. This package would be over $400.00 if purchased from CSI.

PS, we have a few more days of our 10% off sales. It all ends on monday. so if you buy now you will save 10% on your order. This means you will $240.30 for this CSI data package.

There are data vendors out there who do not use the old <225 structure mentioned above. It would be great to have access to any vendor's data, not only those that use the old structure. For Australian market, I'm looking at Norgate data.

Are there plans to move to the new structure of data?

I hope the planned real-time version of TradersStudio will also be able to take feed from various sources. Will this be the case?

Cheers!
