10-10-2007 10:30 AM Alert

Hi all,

I get the above message when I try to load some csv - data. The files are weekly CSVs, however are not named *.csv

What are the requirements for succesfully loading CSV Data ?

Kind regards

Heiner Behrendt

First what data vendor are you using. You should ask them how to change extensions to .CSV. , I think it needs to be .CSV or .TXT.

I am seriously looking at purchasing this product -been using
tradestation since 1999 but this package has very useful money management functions and I like the tick through rule on back testing.

However there are a number of questions to be answered first:

1.) Can you write down a link that will guide me to the page that the software might be able to be purchased- just the standalone software none of the packages .

2.) If I have access to live .csv or .txt data in theory would it be possible to connect
the software live? I need a live version so

3.) Can the strategy code call on .dll files to communicate with outside applications
in order to send order instructions automatically?

4.) How is all the data managed and what type of order management process does the
program run? Very similar to Tradestation or different in what way?

5.) Since many of these questions are hard to answer without actually running the software and conducting a few experiments would it be possible to offer a 30 day trial period in order to clarify all the doubts about whether this application could handle running such an application live to generate and manage trades - intraday.

ASC can not scan it only works on 1 directory at a time. Where are you getting the data you are using , if you want you can send some of your data to Steve in support and he will  check it out and walk you though setting it up.

He can be reached at Steve@TradersStudio.com.

If you have any problems or want to CC me I can be reached at Murray@TradersStudio.com
