On page 194 of the 2.5 manual, first paragraph, there is a reference to the fact that the text file from a walkforward analysis can be used to run a tradeplan. It says that with a little macro programming... I can't find any further explanation of how to use this file. Also I do not see a macro that is already programmed that would allow us to use the trades-text file for a tradeplan. What is needed to get this working?

Thanks

I will work on an example and show you how to make this work. In the walk forward there is a export walk forward trade menu item. This is used to save the trades. If you the have a system with 1 line of code

import("FileName")

It will run all the trades if you use the same session structure as used during the walk forward.

I just checked the command is importtrades("Filename and path")

If you create a system with just this , plus a dummy assign statement for any intermarket data you can run it on the orginal session and create a normal session you can run.

You can apply a tradeplan to these sessions.
