I am impressed with how easy it is to use TradersStudio. I have been developing Systems in EasyLanguage since 2001. I always wanted to combine portfolio's and apply management rules in my systems, but could not do that in TradeStation. TradersStudio has this capability of combining my EasyLanguage systems and test them with different markets and different money management Rules using just the mouse.
I have also been using TradersStudio to combine stocks portfolios and trade them in Brazil Stock Exchange (Bovespa).
I recommend TradersStudio for every Trader that wants to take it's systems and Systems programed in EasyLanguage to the next level.

I am writing to let you know how much I like the TradersStudio software.
I have been struggling with other vendor’s software for some time. I have MetaStock, but don't use it for a number of reasons. It is not able to do the kind of analysis I wanted to do, but the main reason is that the underlying database files are not cleared after each optimization, so depending on what was run before it, even a small optimization can crash MetaStock requiring a reinstall of the software with the loss of all historical testing results. I have TradeStation which I like and use, but it doesn't do some important things that I want to do with historical testing like portfolio testing or money management, and I didn't like being locked in to only TradeStation historical data, or having my system on a web based application that requires a monthly fee forever.
I could not get either product to work for me. I wanted to optimize system results on a basket of markets, and then combine multiple systems with money management. The ability to combine together different trading systems, with different portfolio baskets, from different data vendors, and then see the combined results with money management is absolutely awesome. Other things I really like are roll forward in-sample and out-of-sample testing, and being able to reuse some of the huge library of TradeStation code out there. The manual says that the migration tool for translating TradeStation Easy Language code to TradersStudio is not always 100%, but I have not experienced any time it didn’t work.
I can see how a new user could simply use the trading systems that come with the product, or the market proven 3rd party trading systems, and be up and running very quickly. I got Aberration and I really like it, but I really got TradersStudio to write my own system ideas, and although it may take awhile for me to be able to utilize the flexibility and power of this product, I’m into it enough to see that TradersStudio can do pretty much do any analysis I can dream up. The over the top part is that I can now test things now like running Aberration and a couple of my systems and see how the combination of systems reduces drawdown and other more advanced ideas.
I initially was very concerned buying software from a small new company because the price was much lower than your competitors; I thought the quality of the software or of the tech support would suffer. It turns out the software is far more useful and powerful than I thought or expected, and tech support has always been available and responded quickly to my newbie user problems. In talking with my friends that trade about TradersStudio, two of them have already purchased, and I’m sure there will be more.
